About the Owner
My name is Kayla and I am the mother of five beautiful girls. I have been learning about the "modern" way to cloth diaper since January of 2006. I was amazed when I saw a picture of an All in One diaper for the first time. Since then I've been hooked on designing patterns that work really well, on deciphering the diapering lingo, and on learning about all the specialty diapering fabrics out there!
I conceived of Kayla's Cloth Kits soon after I developed a large sized pattern for my own daughter and opened the store in December 2006. After going through the very long process of designing my own pattern, finding out which fabrics work for cloth diapers, and which notions worked best, I thought that I could offer a valuable service to others who were just starting out in cloth diapering. I also thought that putting the highest quality materials and notions together with my patterns in kits would be extremely helpful for those who were just starting out in cloth and wanted to sew their own cloth diapers.
I remember being excited yet utterly confused when I first started this journey...intrigued but afraid to ask questions...ready to sew diapers but waiting and waiting for specialty fabrics to come in the mail. I think I've got a pretty good grasp on things now and I'm eager to share the information I've learned with other mamas who are in the same position I was in when I started. I really want to help expedite your cloth diapering process, particularly if you want to sew your own diapers. I am excited to be a part of your experience.  About the Order Fulfillment Department
In April of 2009 Kayla stepped out of the role of order fulfillment for Kayla's Cloth Kits and is currently just selling her patterns and focusing on her lovely children. Penny and her family have taken over the role of ordering materials and shipping notions and kits to our customers.
Penny is the owner of the Purple Ducks 'n Stuff store and has been an official KCK One™ licensee for one year and an active member of the Kayla's Cloth Kits Yahoo Group for owners of the KCK One™ pattern. She is always ready and willing to answer questions about sewing cloth diapers. Penny and her children fulfill any order placed through Kayla's Cloth Kits that needs to be shipped.
